Lowell Devils vs Manchester Monarchs December 6, 2009 Monarchs win 6-5 the video clip is AAA Powerplay and shows the Devils attempting to set a play to score. The following is a review taken from our Look Again Lowell website: LDJM has the night off from writing this one so I (his dad) will take over. This was quite the game tonight as the Devils came back after falling behind early in the first period. The return of Matt Halischuck from New Jersey proved positve as he had the assists on both of Tim Sestitos goals plus he scored his own goal late in the second period with the help of Tim Sestito and Tyler Eckford. This was a well played heavy hitting, back and forth hockey game with several penalties being given out along the way including one fight between Robitaille and Westgarth and the kneeing call with the unsportsmanlike conducted by leblond proved costly as Manchester scored on the first half of that 4 minute power play. Manchester were 3 for 6 on the power play and Lowell was 3 for 4. Manchester had 40 shots on net and Lowell had 33. It seemed to be a survival of the fitest for this game and the Monarchs found a way to win this one in the end with only a few seconds left. www.lookagainlowell.com (more…)
